Point Breeze Inn and Bungalows Scrapbook Binder, c. 1911-1919

This blue binder contains photographs, postcards, and ephemera relating to the Point Breeze Inn and Bungalows, which was operated on Hog Island prior to its conservation by Millicent Todd Bingham and the National Audubon Society in 1936.

The Todd Wildlife Sanctuary: Site of the Audubon Nature Camp Film, 1935-1937

This silent black and white film features footage of Hog Island scenery and wildlife as well as footage of nesting seabird colonies on Old Hump Ledge and Eastern Egg Rock, and serves to promote the camp to its initial audience of schoolteachers. The film includes footage of Roger Tory Peterson setting up a bird blind in order to take photographs.

Audubon Camp In Maine: Assorted Photographs Album, 1938-1948

This photograph album features black and white photographs of life at the Hog Island camp between 1938 and 1948. The photograph album was the gift of Dorothy Johnson, a camper in 1938, and the majority of pictures appear to have been taken by her during that year. There are also some pictures from the 1940s, some of them taken by Virginia Cadbury.
