Dawn Redwood Note, July, 3, 1964
Millicent Bingham notes that she has been given a dawn redwood tree from the deputy director of the Peabody Museum at Yale University. She notes that she has passed the sapling onto Bart Cadbury so that it may be planted on Hog Island. An accompanying card describes the provenance of the tree and includes a note that tree is to be transplanted to a "forested place" in 1969.
